Tell Labor: Reject these changes

Minister Burke could announce Labor’s proposed migration changes this week.
The reported changes could be wide-ranging including: removing work rights from people seeking asylum and weakening appeal rights, alongside other changes that could undermine our protection system and make it harder for migrant and refugee families to stay together.
We have a small window to stop these changes. Email your Labor representative today.
More than 150 community organisations and groups have written to Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, warning that removing work rights risks pushing people seeking asylum into poverty and destitution, while placing even more pressure on already overstretched charities and community services.
Now we need Labor representatives to hear from their own constituents.
If Labor MPs and senators hear from enough people before these proposals are announced, they can take those concerns straight into the party room and urge Minister Burke to back down. But we need to act fast!
