Out of Sight, Out of Mind

Host Your Own Listening Club!

Bring people together and start conversations that can make change.

What is a listening club?

A Listening Club is like a book club, but instead of reading a book, you listen to an episode of Out of Sight, Out of Mind together.

It's a simple way to bring together friends, family, neighbours, or colleagues to learn about the Australian Government's offshore detention system, hear directly from people affected by it, and have an honest conversation afterwards.

You don't need to be an expert -  you just need to host a space to listen, reflect, and talk. All it takes is a phone or laptop, a speaker, and somewhere comfortable to sit.

Whether it's with a handful of close friends or family around your kitchen table or your colleagues at lunch, every Listening Club helps more people understand what's happening in our name and invites them to take action.
