Right now, thousands of people who came for safety are living with insecure, short-term visas that stop them from supporting themselves or their families with paid work, during an inefficient refugee process that can drag on for years.

At the same time, 98% of people seeking asylum are completely excluded from any income social safety net by unfair, inflexible eligibility criteria designed to punish people in need.

Please e-mail your local MP now. Tell them it’s time to let people seeking asylum work and study, with access to a fair and equal safety net.
