VICTORY!

On 25 November the Senate voted to 'disallow' the Government's charity regulations that aimed to silence organisations like the ASRC.

Thanks to your efforts, and the work of hundreds of charities working together as the Hands off our Charities alliance, these regulations are now dead. You can read more about the Senate vote here.

This is not just a win for charities and the people we serve, it is a win for democracy.

Charities have been there for the community over the past 18 months in particular. We we will continue to be here, and to speak up for those who are voiceless - or more often, silenced.
