Prime Minister Morrison and the Department of Health have issued physical distancing directives to protect everyone in Australia from infection, transmission and loss of life in the COVID-19 crisis in Australia.

But over 1,000 people  - including many people seeking asylum and refugees - remain held inside the national immigration places of detention. They live in crowded, communal living conditions, under constant guard and without personal protective equipment or medical oversight into their care.

Lodge a complaint with the Minister for Health Greg Hunt on the national public health risk of keeping people in detention.

And ask the Minister to urgently advise PM Morrison to release people to appropriate housing so they can protect themselves and survive COVID-19.
